Lisa Esquivel-Clark believes spa services should be part of a healthy lifestyle rather than an every-once-in-awhile luxury. She is the founder of the Skin Spa of Wake Forest, and the new Skin Spa of Raleigh, and her licensed professionals offer an array of therapeutic, esthetic and cosmetic services in a serene, relaxing atmosphere at affordable prices.
She earned her esthetics’s license in New York in 2004 and for three years performed facials, chemical peels, body treatments and waxing services for a spa and massage business. She excelled in educating her clients about products for their skin types.
In April, the husband and wife team of Joe and Nicole Miller opened the new local jumping facility called Jumpin Jojo's in North Raleigh near the intersection of Perry Creek Road and US-401. The Miller family relocated from upstate New York to Wake Forest in 2012 to have a change of pace and to find better opportunities for their 2 children, Morgan and Joseph - and they haven't regretted it for one minute!
Ever since the Miller kids were mobile enough to jump, Joe and Nicole loved taking them to indoor inflatable centers where they could get out some energy and smile from ear to ear. Their first experience with a bounce house was while visiting friends in Texas. Morgan was just 18 months old and the fun she had was priceless! Joe and Nicole thought, “What a fantastic idea, let’s open our own!” For the next several years, their adventure was put on hold for a bit, due to everyday life of working, being parents and extracurricular activities. Fast forwarding to 2014, they decided that the time was now. Slowly but steadily, Jumpin JoJo’s has become a reality!
Sitters in June of 2004 because she loves pets and thought it would be something fun to do. Who knew that it would grow so much and she would get so busy! After 2 years, Cindy either needed to hire employees to help or quit taking on clients -- she had all she could handle. She decided to cut back on the area that Raleigh Pet Sitters services to cut down on driving time and to hire employees. And it just continued to grow from there.
Many people don't know that they do not have to board their pets and that they can use a pet sitter. In fact, it's actually cheaper for a multi-pet household. It's with a great peace of mind in knowing that your pets are on their own normal routines, eating their same food, sleeping in their normal spots, and remaining happy at home. Cindy loves what she does and says she has AWESOME clients. Her motto is to keep pets 'Happy at Home'. Plus she and her staff take care of clients' homes as well -- get mail, newspaper, bring in any packages, take trash to the curb for pickup, water plants, etc...whatever needs to be done, they'll do it! Cindy currently has 8 employees on staff at this time. They are not independent contractors and with Raleigh Pet Sitters so you get the same 1 or 2 sitters each time you schedule since they are full-time pet sitters/dog walkers & they have a passion for animals and love their job.
