Tomorrow will be December and my favorite month! It always seems like a joyous yet stressful time of the year. I absolutely love the holidays but with that comes a to do list. I’ve included a fun December to do list below. What is your favorite part about December or some holiday traditions you take part in?
I set sail on a family vacation, cruising to the Caribbean this week. What are your Thanksgiving plans? I hope everyone has an amazing holiday and I’m thankful for everyone of you for following my sites and being part of the Housewives in the City community!
What are your fall fashion must haves?
Next Thursday is the Cary Lifestyle Fall Fashion Preview which got me thinking about Fall fashion trends and idea. What is your ‘go to’ piece for the Fall? What versatile pieces do you wear all the time? Is there anything you’re willing to splurge on? My ‘go to’ are boots, sweaters, and leggings! I’m willing to splurge on a really good pair of boots as I have some boots that are well over 10 years old and still my favorite. If you are looking for fashion ideas or just want to see the trends in the Triangle, be sure to get your ticket for the Cary Lifestyle Fall Fashion Preview. I’d love to hear your Fall fashion must haves below!
Is it too early to start planning for Christmas? After Halloween, I start thinking about the holidays and I know everyone has a different opinion on the ‘right’ time for decorations, shopping, etc. I decided I need to focus more of my attention on November and Fall instead of rushing into December. I’ve included a great November bucket list! How many of these things have you done or do you plan to do?
I was asked by an amazing organization in Raleigh called Redefined Courage, ‘what courage means to me’. I had honestly never been asked that question before and hadn’t really thought about it. I had to step back and think what courage really means to me and how it affects my everyday life.
What courage means to me?
It means not being afraid to be yourself. It means standing up to fears; it’s okay to be imperfect. It’s believing in yourself. It’s taking risks. It’s pursing your dreams and trusting in yourself.
What does courage mean to you?
Hello! I'm Carli, a girl originally from Ohio, who could not be more proud to call Raleigh home the last 12+ years. By day, I work at SAS Institute but when I'm not working, I'm a mom to an amazing boy and 2 dogs. In my free time, I love to stay active working out, playing sports, traveling, crafting, attending a sports game/concert, or shopping!
