So last week I had the opportunity to have a wellness profile done. If you have never done one of these, it’s a great way to really understand your body and health. It starts with a short questionnaire and then a body index including clamping. It really opens your eyes to your body areas. After that comes the fun part (or not so fun part)! Next, you get on a treadmill and your incline and speed increases every 3 minutes. The instructor wants you to get to a certain heart rate before stopping. I was on the treadmill for a total of about 20 minutes. After that you get to perform pushups, crunches, and a flexibility test. Lastly, you take a 44 question test involving your lifestyle. At the end, you receive your results. This is the fun part! Each year you do this, your results are compared and hopefully improved. The wellness profile was very eye opening to me and an amazing experience that I’m so glad I participated in. I can’t wait to see what my results involve next year!
