With Summer coming to an end, it’s time to get your water toys out! The warm sunny days, are the perfect time to get those squirt guns ready, have a family water balloon fight, setup your sprinklers, baby pools, and slip-and-slides. I’ve included some fun games to try with the family during COVID to get everyone moving, wet, and smiling!
Water Balloon Toss: Fill a balloon with water and have the players stand across from each other tossing the balloon back and forth. Take a step back as the game goes on and it will become more difficult. Don’t let the balloon hit the ground and break!
Water Relay: Fill a bucket of water and place an empty bucket of water across from it. The players will start on the side with the bucket full of water; each player will have a plastic cup. The object of the game is to fill your cup with water and run it to the empty bucket to fill it with water as fast as they can without spilling the water. You can play this game using sponges as well to carry the water back and forth.
Water Limbo: Line the players up in a traditional limbo game as someone holds the hose. The water hose gets lower and lower as the players limbo underneath. Don’t forget to include some fun music!
