Wahlburgers, founded by Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg and brothers Mark and Donnie, will bring its tasty chef-inspired burgers, sandwiches and salads to North Carolina with its first location at 319 Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. Slated to open in early 2017, the restaurant will occupy 5,470 square feet in The Hudson, formerly the old Belk department store - a hub of commerce in downtown Raleigh for more than seven decades. Undergoing a major transformation, the landmark now features a mix of restaurants, retail and condominiums.
"We’re thrilled to be bringing Wahlburgers to the vibrant and eclectic downtown center of Raleigh,” said Rick Vanzura, CEO of Wahlburgers. “With such a dynamic group of shops, restaurants and attractions, downtown Raleigh is at the height of economic growth and we look forward to serving this diverse and thriving neighborhood.”
Located in the bustling cosmopolitan district of Fayetteville Street, Wahlburgers will deliver a dining experience built on heartfelt hospitality and fun while offering a chef-inspired menu that highlights creative burgers, sandwiches and Wahlberg family favorite dishes created with only the best and freshest ingredients. The restaurant will feature both a fast casual counter and spacious full-service dining room with an expansive bar in addition to a small retail section with branded Wahlburgers T-shirts, hats, and more.
THE WAHLBURGERS STORY
Founded by Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg and celebrity brothers Mark and Donnie and other investors, Wahlburgers debuted in October 2011 in Hingham, Massachusetts. The subject of an A&E reality show, Wahlburgers offers a fun, casual music-filled atmosphere where guests, like family, share great food, a few laughs and lots of love. While its walls celebrate the story through photos and words of the Wahlberg brothers' life journeys from Dorchester, Mass. neighborhood kids to rising chef and international superstars, it’s the food at Wahlburgers that takes center stage.
Crafted by Chef Paul and served with heartfelt hospitality, the chef inspired menu features a variety of fresh burgers, housemade condiments, crispy haddock, seared chicken and vegetarian options. Other signature items include Mom’s Sloppy Joe, thin crispy onion rings, tater tots and thick creamy frappes and floats. Gluten free options are available.
Wahlburgers’ full-service bar is a popular gathering spot offering an impressive selection of adult frappes, cocktails, wines and beers including the signature Wahlbrewski – a Harpoon Brewery custom, unfiltered Pale Ale. Dedicated to giving back, Wahlburgers is active in every community it serves. Open daily for lunch and dinner, Wahlburgers offers full-service dining, counter service, take out and a full-service bar. For locations and more information visit wahlburgersrestaurant.com.
