This event features the Richmond Symphony, a laser light show and a family fun zone! There will be vendors for various activities and food trucks to provide a meal to sit back and enjoy the evening entertainment.
Dogwood Dell Fourth of July
Dogwood Dell, Byrd Park, 600 South Boulevard, Richmond
Free admission, 5:30pm
Come out to the amphitheatre and enjoy music by Bak N Da Day and the Richmond Concert Band. Fireworks will start at dusk and if it starts to rain, show up to this spot the next day on July 5th for your firework fun.
Fireworks at The Diamond
3001 North Boulevard, Richmond
$8-$14, Gates open at 4:30pm, Game at 6:05pm
Interested in a sporting event with your fireworks show? Come out to The Diamond where the Richmond Squirrels will be taking on the Fightin Phils. There will be an Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza after the game that will hopefully follow a victory for our Squirrels! If you would rather cleanse your palate with some hops for the evening, you can also catch these fireworks from Hardywood brewery at 2409 Ownby Lane located behind The Diamond.
Goochland Fourth of July Fireworks
1800 Sandy Hook Road, Goochland
Bring the family to the Goochland Sports Complex and enjoy fireworks starting at 9pm!
Chesterfield County Fourth of July Celebration
10300 Courthouse Road, Chesterfield
Free Admission, 5pm
Celebrate at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds (across from L.C. Bird High School). Fun for all ages, they will be offering an activity area for children, food vendors and entertainment. Fireworks begin at dark. Please note that the roads leading to the fairgrounds will be closed at 8:30pm, prepare and get there early!
Ashland 4th of July Parade & Celebration
500 S Center Street, Ashland
Free Admission, 11am
Celebrate our country the old fashioned way with a walking parade starting at 11am, an apple pie baking contest and a patriotic pet contest!
