With so many things being cancelled, I was so happy to find out that SeaWorld was not cannceling their annual Spooktacular and Christmas Celebration. Both special events are included in the price of park admission, which means there is a capacity limit in addition the added safety measures in place to prevent te spread of the viris.
SeaWorld Orlando kicked off the SeaWorld Spooktacular this past weekend, on Sept. 19, and we were happy to spend our last weekend of Summer enjoying this fun event along with the closing weekend of the Craft Beer Festival! A great way to end the Summer!
Spooktacular Trick or Treat Trail
Enjoy SeaWorld Orlando and Trick or Treat with park admission every weekend from Sept 19 to Nov 1, 2020. The trail supports social distancing by sending guests through in a single direction with limited capacity, so everyone can have fun while staying safe and collecting lots of sweet treats. There are a good variety of candy stations with "candy Shoots" so the team member is not directly handing the candy to the guests. Some of the candy stations include: sour patch kids, air heads and m&ms, just to name a few! My kiddos were so excited to get to trick or treat before Halloween.
FYI- you must have one of their wite Halloween bags in order to participat in the trick or treat trail. Bags are for sale in park for $2.50.
Count von Count's Breakfast is a great Spooktacular Add-on
If you want to take your Spooktacular visit to the next level, plan to start the day with Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast! You can skip the long line at the front gate too, because you need to plan to arrive at the Port of at 10:15am, where you will be escorted to the breakfast location.
This character meal features a delicious breakfast enjoyed with the furriest friends in town. The menu includes Chef carved brown sugar glazed ham served with bacon and sausage links, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, tator tots, french toast, muffins, fruit and yogurt. . Plus juice, milk and coffee options.
We all enjoyed hte breakfast and thought it was the perfect start to the day!
In addition to all the usual SeaWorld Orlando fun, when visiting on a Spooktacular Weekend, you will enjoy the Halloween Maze, the trick or treat trail, friendly character interactions,, carnival games, a chance to meet a mermaid, character breakfast and cookie decorating! It is a limited time event - happening only on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept 19 through Nov 1st. So take a road trip to Orlando and have some Halloween themed family fun!
IMPORTANT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO TO SEAWORLD SPOOKTACULAR:
Mandatory reservations: All guests with existing tickets, Fun Cards, or Annual Passes must make a reservation to visit in advance in order to manage park capacity and maintain physical distancing. Requiring reservations allows the park to limit the number of guests on property each day, further enhancing the park’s vigorous safety protocols.
Face Covering Policy: All guests 2 years of age and older must wear face coverings while in the park, including guests who choose to wear costumes during SeaWorld Spooktacular. Review Important Safety Guidelines.

Can you honestly say that you love yourself? It is so easy to focus on your faults and dwell on ones own insecurities instead of the things about themselves that they are happy with. Doing this can cause you to dislike yourself.
You may also be too busy focusing on others around you and not focusing on loving yourself. This may seem more important to some than others, but self-love is one of the best things you can do for yourself.
Being in love with yourself provides you with self-confidence, self-worth and it will generally help you feel more positive. Today, on valentine's, take time to think about not only why you love others but what is so wonderful about yourself!
SHARE YOUR LOVE WITH YOURSELF!!!
The world needs who you are and what you have to offer. No one got to where they are by an easy road of constant wins. But every successful woman has a fire inside of her that will not burn out even through winds, rain and darness. And she has a dream that guides her fire. And determination to keep it all going. because of her desire to see this thing through until the very end. Giving up may cross her mind, but she will not let it take up residence in her heart. Cheers to a Successful 2020! Cheers to YOU!
Cheers to the past that made you who you are.
Cheers to the failures that taught you to do it better.
Cheers to the negative voices you learned to not listen to.
Cheers to the bullies you learned to shrug off.
Cheers to the woman you used to be.
Cheers to the tribe who supports your every move.
Cheers to the moments that brought you to the this very place.
Cheers to the fire that won’t let you quit.
CHEERS TO 2020 - that it will be a succesful year of growth!
Cheers to you, a successful woman.
Well, Thanksgiving was last week, so that means that we have officially entered the season where Ugly Sweaters are not only acceptable they are often a requirement for a party! So it may very well be something you seek out to buy this time of year!
Instead of rushing around vintage stores looking for those oldie sweaters that our parents made us wear for real or heading to Target to get the same one that everyone else will get ... shop online at the UglyChristmasSweater.com for a huge selection of funny, cute and even some that would be only be appropriate for an Adult party.
I am in LOVE with this Grinch sweater....I would argue that it is NOT ugly but it is festive and perfect to wear to all Christmas parties.
It just wouldn’t be the holiday season without a good ‘ol fashioned ugly sweater party. Whether you’re rocking a sweater or vest that’s been sitting in the back of your Grandma’s closet for 50 years or a pattern that feature your fave pop-culture reference in ugly sweaterized form, the ugly sweater has far surpassed ugly to become cute and trendy! When looking for your next holiday party outfit or christmas photo top, you will have tons of "ugly sweaters" to choose from at UglySweaters.com
Gobble, Gobble, Gobble. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.
I am very grateful for all the people in my life, my health, the opportunities that found their way to me over the past year, the lessons learned and all the moments (good and bad) that led me to where I am today.
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
I know, I know...we haven't even celebrated Halloween yet and I am talking about Christmas. But fact is....only 2 months away! And I love this. time of year and I soak up all the beautiful decor as long as I can. Plus I am not a last minute shopper. If you are like me and like to get your present buying over with so you can sit back and enjoy the holidays then you will want to make sure you attend our next two Girl's Night Out socials because you can support some fabulous local women businesses while taking items off your gift list!

After the initial back-to-school chaos, we can now breathe and have some family fun as we approach the holidays. In South Florida, we don't really have a drastic change in the weather nor do the leaves have a huge color difference I personally love bucket lists. Bucket lists are a great reminder to slow down, and take time to just enjoy some quality time with the kids.
I’ve got 15 awesome ideas for you to enjoy the fall season (even in Florida) with loads of family fun!
Decorate the house with fall decor
Bake an apple pie together from scratch
Create a thankful jar
Have a family picnic
Make pine cone bird feeders
Build a scarecrow
Make Blessing Mix and give to friends
Eat caramel apples
Pick out new fall candles
Donate food to a local food bank
Visit a farmer’s market
Go for a walk in the woods
Plan Thanksgiving dinner (each family member picks two items)!
Fall is a wonderful time to take a moment with the kids to reflect on the year so far. Talk about what made it special. What else you’d still like to do. And what things each member is thankful for. It can just be a chat while walking or a serious toast at Thanksgiving. 2019 is almost over, enjoy the last two months making fun memories!

On this night...18 years ago, 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning tomorrow. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives. None of them saw past 10:00 am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.
Never forget. 🇺🇸
