Christmas and the whole of December is my favorite time of year. There is so much magic in the air, my daughter is so excited this year and is being very humble only asking for 3 things from Santa. Although one of those things is a baby brother or baby sister (lets see if we can make her wish come true). This year I really want to enjoy the magic of the season all month long and immerse myself in the Christmas spirit. I have already put up our Christmas tree, wrapped all of the presents and only have 3 small items left to buy, which means I will have soo much more time to spend with my family! Sometimes at this time of year we get so busy with the preparation that we forget to enjoy the little moments along the way. I am going to try to be more organized this year with our Christmas elf Jingles, I say this every year and every year so far I have failed. I'm sure i'm not the only one who dreams of being a Pinterest queen but then forgets to move the elf and is scrambling for ideas before their little ones wake up! I took all of our Christmas decorations for the outside of the house out the box and somehow we have nothing that matches, so not sure how the outside of the house will look this year! But keep an eye out and i'll share some pictures on Facebook! I am excited to make homemade reindeer food, Christmas cookies, enjoy the Scrooge trolley tour and enjoy all the Christmas lights we can find locally. What is your favorite Christmas tradition that you and your family enjoy?
